Είχα την ευκαιρία να συνεργαστώ με το γραφείο Team up Creations τόσο στα πλαίσια της θέσης μου ως Λειτουργός του Τμήματος Δασών όσο και σαν ιδιώτης ερευνητής.
Ο επαγγελματισμός και η αστείρευτη δημιουργικότητα των ανθρώπων που εργάζονται στο συγκεκριμένο γραφείο όσο και του Διευθυντή του, του φίλου Γιάννου Αθανασιάδη δεν μπορούν να περιγραφούν εύκολα σε αυτό το σχόλιο.
Θα επικεντρωθώ στα 2 προσωπικά μου βιβλία τα οποία έχει αναλάβει το γραφείο και για τα οποία νοιώθω πολύ περήφανος. Έχουν καταφέρει να δημιουργήσουν αυτό ακριβώς το αποτέλεσμα που  φανταζόμουν πριν πάω κοντά τους γιατί όταν γράφεις και φωτογραφίζεις θέματα που αφορούν την άγρια ζωή είναι εξαιρετικά σημαντικό αν πρόκειται να τα μεταφέρεις στο χαρτί, να μην παρεκκλίνεις καθόλου από την πραγματικότητα. Στην περίπτωση αυτή, η ομάδα της Team up creations το έχει καταφέρει δημιουργώντας σπουδαία δουλειά.
Με μια ματιά στα βιβλία, ΤΑ ΕΡΠΕΤΑ ΚΑΙ ΤΑ ΑΜΦΙΒΙΑ ΤΗΣ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ και στο πολύ απαιτητικό ΤΑ ΑΓΡΙΑ ΘΗΛΑΣΤΙΚΑ ΤΗΣ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ, δουλειές χρόνων επίπονης εργασίας στο πεδίο αλλά και στη συνέχεια στη συγγραφή, αποδεικνύουν ότι μόνο εάν η σχεδιαστική ομάδα έχει εργαστεί με ζήλο και ενθουσιασμό θα μπορούσε να παράξει αυτά τα αποτελέσματα.
Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ γιατί καταφέρνετε να μπαίνετε στο μυαλό του πελάτη σας και να δημιουργείτε αυτό ακριβώς για το οποίο σας εμπιστεύεται την δουλειά του. Που καταφέρνετε να του παρουσιάζετε μια διαφορετική άποψη, καλύτερη από αυτή που φανταζόταν και που μόνο άνθρωποι με απόλυτο επαγγελματισμό θα μπορούσαν να κάνουν.

The Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF), established in 1986, is today promoting and enhancing the rights of patients with thalassaemia and haemoglobin disorders, representing a total of 232 member patient associations in more than 62 countries globally.

The role and contribution of TIF in offering technical knowledge and experience to support local associations, national governments and, of course, international organisations, including WHO with whom the Federation is in official relationships since 1996, the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and many others, has been immense.

Since the early 1990s, TIF has started the implementation of its vast Educational Programme, a prominent achievement of which has been the development and publication of the ‘’ TIF Guidelines For The Management of Transfusion Dependent Thalassaemia’’, widely used as the only evidence-based reference text by academics, researchers and healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with the disease.

Team-Up’s Director, Mr Athanassiades, has been an invaluable collaborator of TIF in the design and production of these Guidelines, and of many other publications which are now in the hands of WHO, UN and EU officials, medical/scientific associations, healthcare professionals, and, of course, patients in every corner of the globe.
